This is a tutorial on How to Host with NETGEAR.
1. Click Start, the click RUN
2. Enter "CMD" (without quotations)
3. Type in "ipconfig" (without quotations)
4. Note down your Default Gateway address
e.g something like: 192.168.1.1
Also Note down you IP address
5. Open up your internet browser and type in your default gateway address, ie: 192.168.1.1
6. A login should popup
Default credentials are username: "admin" and password: "password" (again without quotations)
*NOTE* If these aren't your credentials your password or username has been manually changed - contact your network administrator.
7. Your NETGEAR page should popup. Click Firewall Rules on the left.
8. Now under Port Forwarding, Add a Custom Rule with the following:
Name-Warcraft III
Start Port-6112
End Port-6119
TCP
Your IP
9. Press Add
10. open the port on your Firewall
to do this go to start--->Security Center----> Manage Firewall (at Bottom)
now go to the tab that says "Advanced"
click you the internet you are using
now select you internet and click settings
click "Add"
Now Type in "Battle.net" and type in the IP you wrote down ealier
for internal and external ports type in 6112
Make sure TCP is selected
now click the tab "ICMP" and "Allow incoming router request"
now click OK
Now go to tab "exceptions"
Click Add Port
type in Battle.net with the port number 6112
TCP
Click OK
Now You have enabled Warcraft 3 Battle.net Hosting, Enjoy, please thank and/or reply if i've helped
